76 Golf World Review
Review of: 76 Golf World
Date of visit: Sunday, February 21, 2010
Address: 6801 S. Kanner Hwy., Stuart, Fl 34997
Description of Location: Right off Route 76, about 5 miles from Route 1 and very close to I95.
Website: http://www.golfworld76.com/
General Overview: Fun, well maintained miniature golf center with driving range, go-karts, batting cages, jump-shot basketball and other kid-friendly activities. Indoor arcade and snack bar serving pizza and other food.
Pros: Nice variety of details, well-cared-for greens. Good test of skill with several multi-cup holes. Some holes deceptively challenging. 2 separate 18-hole courses. Easy to find with lots of other activities besides mini-golf. Specials and coupons posted on website.
Cons: None.
Nitpicks: A couple of the holes on the Rocky River course were positioned near the highway, and even though there was a fence, you could feel and hear the traffic going by.

Course Name: Eagle’s Nest
Hole 2 – Pond’s Hill
Par 3
Hole 3 – Manatee
Par 3
Shaped like a Manatee with lots of contours.
Hole 4 – Mushroom
Par 3
has 2 holes to choose from
Hole 5 – Yellow Bridge
Par 3
Bridge is sloped
Hole 6 – Sal’s Landing
Par 2
Hole 8 -
Par 2
Has a double tee with rock formations and a fountain
Hole 9 – Waterfall
Par 3
Goes hard left
Hole 10 – The Cave
Par 3
Hole 11 – Look Out Below
Par 3
Putt from above at tee at top of the stairs, and ball goes through tubes to lower area section – note that shooting into the middle hole is not the best option!
Hole 12 – Circle Creek
Par 2
No barrier, a moat around the green – deceptively simple, but tough. We were inclined to hit lightly to avoid going into the water hazard! Unfortunately, the green slopes up from the tee, so that is chancy, too!
Hole 13 – Up & Down
Par 3
2 destination cups – another that looks deceptively simple.
Hole 14 – Lighthouse point
Par 2
Hole 15 – Where’s the Hole? (Nice & Easy)
Par 2
Has a large ridge and low recessed area, making it look like your ball should go right in, but not quite as simple as it looks! Slants to the right, and in my opinion, the Sign lied!!!
Hole 16 – The Arbor
Par 2
This area can be seen in the background of the photo of Hole #3, Manatee, above.
Hole 17 – Palm Island
Par 2
Hole 18 – Finishing Touch
Par 3
Lots of curving slopes, around, down and up – quite challenging, sloped to the right downhill

Course Name: Rocky River
Supposed to be more difficult
Hole 1 – Player’s Choice
Par 2

Two choices, straight or around a banked curve, with multiple cups to shoot for.
Hole 2 – Rocky River
Par 3

Has a long sloped downhill with a slight bend to the left & Daytona banked turn
Hole 3 – Shady Tee
Par 2

Downhill with a ramp at the end – just like a skateboard ramp!
Hole 4 – Arrowhead
Par 3
Another funky Turkey-leg with the green shaped just like an arrowhead.
Hole 5 – Bullseye
Par 3
Banked with tilt to the left, moat-like depresssion optical illusion around the cup
Hole 6 – Football
Par 2

Green is shaped like a football, and hole is at the end of a center shrubbery area, with a depression on the left that you need to avoid. There is a pond nearby with a fountain that provides a nice mist in the breeze on a hot sunny day.
Hole 7 – Northbound
Par 3

Long, downhill ramp to the cup, with a ski jump in the middle. The cup is located in the center of a raised area.
One of the toughest here so far
Hole 8 – Hardest Hole
Par 4

Right-hand dog-leg, curve around trees, can’t see the cup from the tee.
Hole 9 – Evie’s Falls
Par 4

Downhill around to the left with a stair-step drop and ramps around it.
Hole 10 – Right Curve

Over a hill and through a ramp with twin banked sides, Multiple cups.

Double dog-leg left with bricks that just might grab your ball.
